Job Summary
The College of New Caledonia requires an instructor to teach in the Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) program.
Skills & Qualifications
• An Interprovincial Trades Qualification in the Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) trade
• Five years experience working as a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
• Preference will be given to candidates who are current in the trade and who have proven teaching and/or supervisory experience
• An Interprovincial Trades Qualification in the Machinist trade would be considered an asset
• The successful candidate should be able to deal effectively with students on an individual or group basis
• Completion of the Provincial Instructor’s Diploma Program (PIDP) would be considered an asset
• Online instruction would be considered an asset

You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues

You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.

Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
Salary $71,727 - $85,106 per year. Commensurates with qualifications and relevant experience.
